AGH UST has the largest campus in Krakow, with 20 student houses capable of accommodating over 9,000 individuals. Due to the fact that every year there are nearly 35,000 undergraduates and postgraduates studying at our University (including students from all over the country as well as international students), AGH unfortunately cannot provide every student with accommodation in one of the halls of residence. Therefore, it is crucial for you to apply to the University as soon as possible, including information that you would like us to arrange accommodation for you in one of the student houses at the campus.
The University Campus is located in the immediate neighbourhood of the university lecture buildings, on 16 hectares, with over 9000 beds in double and three-bed rooms. Within the campus area there are halls of students’ residence, students’ clubs and unions, the “radio17” Academic Radio Station, a post office, a bank, a sports centre, a football pitch and tennis courts, shops, a supermarket, food and service outlets, a nursery school. The campus is connected with the University via a modern, one-gigabyte computer network and a Wi-Fi network.
A monthly charge for a bed in a students’ hostel is about 70-80 EUR. It is good value for money in comparison with payments for lodgings.
